Beauty Shop / Barber

The beauty shop is run by Darlene's Hair Care and is open Tuesday - Thursday. The barber comes to St. Ann's one time per month for those who prefer to use him.

Laundry Facilities

There is a laundry room on four of the six floors of St. Ann's. Residents can choose to do their own personal laundry or they can contract with our nursing department to have them do it for an additional cost. The washers run $.75 and the dryers are $.50 and the laundry rooms are open 6 a.m. until 10:30 p.m.

Resident Social Area

Residents are able to utilize the "Patio View Room" on the first floor overlooking the private courtyard. This room serves many purposes and you will find coffee, snacks, and games on certain nights of the week. It's a general social area to visit with friends and family.

Social Hall

The main floor houses the large social hall where all big activities take place.

Intercom System

Every apartment in St. Ann's has an intercom system which enables communication between the resident and the front desk 24 hours per day. Residents are able to make requests through the intercom.

Meeting Rooms

St. Ann's offers several meeting areas which can be rented out for a small fee for personal parties and other events.

Courtyard

In the middle of St. Ann's, you will find a private courtyard where residents can enjoy the sun and shade during the summer months. We have outdoor BBQ's, camp fires, and sing-a-longs too. There are raised garden beds where residents can grow vegetables or plants.

Nursing Services

St. Ann's offers a 24-hour a day nursing department where residents can get help with their activities of daily living.

St. Lukes Rehab & Therapy Services

St. Luke's offers Rehab & Therapy services at St. Ann's. They also offer Speech and Occupational therapies. A doctor referral/prescription is required for treatment. St. Ann's will work closely with your doctor so you receive the therapy services that are right for you.

Saint Ann's Bus

St. Ann's has our very own 12-passenger bus which is used for resident outings. We have scheduled outings that residents sign up to attend and go to different restaurants, stores, and more.

In-house Baker

St. Ann's has our own in-house baker who bakes all of the breads homemade and desserts. Resident can order fresh baked goods every Monday, for delivery on Thursday.

Escort Services

Residents can obtain roundtrip escort service to appointments at the Duluth Clinic, St. Mary's Medical Center, and Miller Dwan. Arrangements are made through the front desk at St. Ann's and the cost for this service is $5 each way.
