Nursing Department

St. Ann's is a licensed Assisted Living Home Care provider offering support and health-related services to residents in the comfort and privacy of their own apartment.

These services are provided by St. Ann's Resident Care Services Department (RCS), a team of experienced, skilled and compassionate certified Home Health Aides, Certified Nursing Aides, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses.

The Resident Care Services staff is available 24 hours a day. Residents are able to live independently, but are also able to obtain services from RCS. Residents can obtain assistance from the Home Health Aides, Receptionist, or Security staff by utilizing the emergency call system available in all apartments.

Not all residents require services beyond those provided for by the basic rental package, but just knowing that someone is available if that time comes, or in the event of an emergency, puts residents and their loved ones at ease.

Sandy has been at St. Ann’s since 2003.  She has been an RN for 22 years, of which most have been with the geriatric population.  In Resident Care Services, we promote independence when possible and provide quality care to the residents that need assistance.  When residents wish to remain in their home at St. Ann’s until the end of their life and we are able to assist them in doing so, we have reached our ultimate goal.
