Spiritual Department

Rev. Bob Stevens joined St. Ann's in September of 2000 as Religious Life Coordinator. His responsibilities include arranging for people from the Duluth community to lead worship at our 3:00 p.m. Sunday Protestant worship service, leading worship at ecumenical services at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Lent, and at quarterly Memorial services.  He also teaches a weekly Bible study, visits and welcomes all new residents, visits and does counseling with residents as requested, and teaches a weekly ceramics class.  He is an ordained minister who has served as a parish pastor, retail sales manager, and as chaplain at a Residential Treatment Center for youth.  His mission is to "be sure that spiritual guidance is available for all residents.”

Reverand Bob

Sister Jane has been at St. Ann's for 12 years.  She took over the position of Sacristan 3 years ago.  Before coming to St. Ann's, Sister Jane taught 1rst through 3rd grade at different Catholic schools for 47 years.  Her duties at St. Ann's consist of taking care of the chapel, setting up for mass everyday, helping out with mass, and volunteering in St. Ann's "little shop".  Her mission is "to give her assistance in any way to make sure that mass is provided and that the chapel is kept in top shape."

Sister Jane

St. Ann’s has a beautiful Chapel which seats many people which provides a worship setting for many services.  Mass is celebrated every morning and a protestant service, conducted by a variety of clergy and laity from the community, is held at 3:00 p.m. on Sundays.  Ecumenical services are held for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and during Lent.  A Memorial Service is also held three to four times a year to remember those that have passed on.  The chapel is also available for special services such as Weddings and Funerals.  Bible study opportunities take place on Tuesday afternoons and clergy are available for personal visits.
